- Each week involves swimming two 2km sessions, with space in the programme for you to complete running and cycle training as well. Prior to using this plan , you should be able to complete a 1,500 meters continuous swim, 2,000 metres total within a workout.
- From where you are at, I would say run 5 days a week. 3 sessions run 5, 6, and 8 miles. Two other sessions do one as a timed fartlek (60-90 seconds hard, 45 seconds easy) and the other as 6x400m at current 1500 PR with 1m20-30s easy job between.
